my ACT story
I wasn't a natural.
This is the part I want every parent to hear. My first ACT scores were nowhere near where I wanted them, and the prep books frustrated me — bloated with material the test barely touches.
So I did it the hard way: practice test after practice test, working out which strategies actually move a score.
the PRICE
National prep companies asked me to teach their courses. I said no.
My course was built from that experience — not from a corporate script. When I was in high school, courses like theirs cost $500 to $1,000, and that was out of reach for me.
Why it matters
My ACT score won me a full-tuition scholarship. I graduated college debt-free, and it changed everything about my twenties.
And here's what I believe with my whole heart: those scholarships aren't reserved for born geniuses. With hard work and the right strategies, they're within reach of almost any student.
